Badla Hindi movie copied from Black Mirror episode Crocodile

 

Badla, a hindi movie released in 2019- which revolves around a story where the parents of a murdered son go all out to get justice. 

The plot about how the murder takes place and how the murderer tries to hide it has severe resemblance to the black Mirror episode "Crocodile" (29 dec 2017) - in which the murderer manages to hide the event until one fine day it comes back to bite her.

John Oliver looks like Vector Perkins

After posting the post on Gru and John, I ended up watching "Despicable Me" movie again.

I noticed that the villain Vector Perkins, looks very much like John Oliver. I do like John Oliver's "Last week tonight show"  and watch it without fail. However the resemblance never occurred to me till day. If you haven't watched the movie or the show; you should watch it right now.

 

"Martian" and the "Red Planet"

So I happened to watch Red Planet movie recently and couldnt help but notice a wide range of similarities between in the Martian Movie starring Matt Damon and the Red Planet movie. For starters, it is about a group of astronomers doing research on the forsaken planet mars. When things go south they need to rely on their basic human instincts for survival. I liked both the movies, they are different in their own way.

Hiring superheroes, Billionaire style!

If you have watched Captain America: Civil war you would have noticed Tony Stark suddenly showing up at Spidey's apartment and telling him to join him/avengers which spiderman eventually joins.

The scene in Batman's upcoming movie Justice League holds an remarkable resemblance where Bruce Wayne goes to Flash with a similar purpose of joining his team consisting of people with special abilities. I know there isn't much but the style, story and the  energy levels look pretty same.

Possibility : Game of Thrones remakes in Indian & Spanish Versions

HBO's most popular tv show Game of Thrones is being rumored again to be remade using mostly latino actors for a spanish version of the show. Telemundo- a Spanish language TV station has come forth with this.

Previously Sony Networks (India) wanted to make a TV show called "Rani Mahal" on the lines of GOT. First episode was supposed to air in 2015 is stalled for some reason. Again it does seem like another rumor.

Why the remake ? obviously coz of its roaring popularity. GOT has claimed 7.3 million viewers via TV and on Demand, the number may be an underestimation if we consider the rest of the internet including the torrents and other online sites. Hence targeting a larger audience with familiar actors makes sense.
